inlingua Cheltenham opened in 1990 and has established a strong reputation for high quality language training combined with personal service. We pay particular attention to the individual needs and interests of all our clients.
Our General English Centre at Rodney Lodge, Cheltenham and our separate Business Centre for Professionals are located next door to each other, and are just 30 metres from the High Street. We are therefore superbly positioned for access to buses, shops, town centre hotels, theatres, restaurants and pubs.
At our centres you meet people from all over the world, enjoy an excellent training programme and take full advantage of the extra study facilities and social programmes designed exclusively for each centre.

School building / location

MAIN SCHOOL: The General English centre is based at Rodney Lodge in the town centre of Cheltenham, 50 metres from the main shopping street. There are normally between 50 and 100 students studying with us at any one time, who come from all over the world to learn English at inlingua Cheltenham. In the summer the student numbers go up to 160 students. We combine the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of a small school with the facilities and professional service of a larger centre.
Facilities include: 12 classrooms - Student lounge / coffee room with satellite television and DVD facility - Self study centre - Free broadband and wireless internet access - Beautiful private garden.

BUSINESS CENTRE: Separated from the Main School building by a pleasant garden, our Business Centre provides executive clients with the ideal environment in which to relax and concentrate on improving their English. The reception area provides a natural meeting point where you can take a rest, enjoy a drink and chat to your fellow clients in between lessons. You also have the opportunity to check your email or use the internet. There is also plenty of opportunity to network with the other executive clients in our Executive Social Programme. This dedicated Business Centre offers 8 classrooms designed and furnished to resemble a company office or board room. The teachers used in the centre are highly experienced but have at the same time a business background which gives them additional experience when dealing with corporate clients.

ESSEX HOUSE: This building is situated within 50 metres of both the other main buildings and is a classroom block with 7 classrooms designed and furnished to accommodate both Main School and Business Centre clients.

School and Students Services

Activities:

• Excellent social programme, two evenings and one full day excursion per week throughout the year, including summer, for all those booked on LSP 20 and LSP 30 courses for 8 weeks or more.
• Evening programmes include activities such as karaoke, skittles, international food evenings, pizza nights, film nights and more.
• Saturday excursions to places of interest such as Oxford, Cardiff, Bristol, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds.
