School Description

The school is located in the heart of London, less than one minute from the British Museum. The area is called Bloomsbury and is the place that has inspired many writers, scientists, artists and thinkers such as Charles Darwin, Virginia Woolf, Karl Marx, Charles Dickens, George Bernard Shaw and Bob Marley!

Our teaching method:

Not all students are the same, not all people learn in the same way... therefore, we do not use just one teaching method. Our aim is “to teach the students and not the course”. In other words, we do not teach page 16 of a book because yesterday we did page 15. We try to understand what all the individuals in the class want and need and then revise the syllabus every week.
You will see that the school is designed in a very interesting way. Every classroom is different – some have traditional tables and chairs, others have comfortable sofas and nowhere to write – the idea is that you are in a different room everyday and will have 5 very different lessons each week. One lesson may be conversational, another may have grammar explanations and practise and then on a different day you may be doing a project using computers. The aim is clear and simple – to make learning an active, memorable and realistic experience.

School building / location

Our building dates back to 1776 and is very elegant on the outside. Inside it is modern, bright and funky. You will see that the 8 classrooms are all designed in a way for different lessons. On Monday you may be studying grammar in a traditional room with tables and chairs... on Tuesday you may be in one of the conversation areas, comfortably sitting and talking on bright orange and red sofas.... on Wednesday you may be using our modern computer room. Every day and every room is different!
During break times you can use our internet cafe, have a coffee in the garden or relax in the lounge.
