School building / location

ACTILINGUA ACADEMY (age: 16+) - Our school for adults 16+ is located in the heart of Vienna and open all year. The classrooms are in a class of their own. Bright, welcoming and equipped with the latest in educational technology, they make learning a pleasure.

SUMMER SCHOOL VIENNA-CENTRE FOR YOUTH (12-16 years) - The summer school for young people from 12-14 and 15-16 is located in the Vienna-Centre in the middle of a wonderful park. The famous sights are only a walk away or within easy reach on public transport. The house and grounds - a former summer residence of Emperor Karl VI, the father of Maria Theresia - are spaciously laid out.

School and Students Services

Activities:

• Included in the price are Vienna guides tours, Viennese Waltz course. We offer special talks and videos about Austrian music, art, literature, history and architecture. Films, tours of the many sights of Vienna and sports all form are part of this programme.
• On weekends we offer excursions to e.g. Salzburg, Budapest, Klosterneuburg,... Excursions are paid for directly in Vienna (cost price).
• In our Summer School Vienna-Centre our teachers put together an exciting leisure programme on the school premises and show you the very best of Vienna. The leisure programme takes place every afternnoon and evening.

Equipment:

• The classrooms are in a class of their own. Bright, welcoming and equipped with the latest in educational technology, they turn learning into a pleasure.
• Between classes, students can meet at the ActiLingua multimedia library which features German-language literature and the latest issues of newspapers and magazines. You can watch videos, listen to language cassettes or work at the computer. Courses also take place at the ActiLingua annexe.
• Free e-mail and internet access for our students!
